Ideal for authentic Italian food more than just pizza and meatballs, the manager and staff give a great relaxed but formal atmosphere. The mussels and pasta had a rich sauce, and a depth to the flavour… if only i took the time to savour it ;)
Will be visiting again. This place would be ideal for a business meal, a romantic dinner, or a quiet evening by yourself.
(Please bear in mind, for the price we had the three courses each and alcoholic drinks, the prices are very reasonable)
I took my partner here for her birthday, it was a Wednesday lunchtime. It had just opened and we were one of the first in. We was greeted by a lovely gentleman and taken to our table, it soon got busy but that didn’t stop the waiter (who I believe to be the owner) remembering who was in order. The food came out in great time, the service came with a smile and good conversation. Everything we needed was catered for. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every moment. I would definitely recommend this place looking for authentic Italian at a great price. Thank you Billy!

Billy - you never fail to deliver. Your food is phenomenal. Tastes so delicious and the presentation is just as perfect. We visited this evening to celebrate mums birthday. The effort you put in to make people feel welcome and special is unreal. The birthday music and the birthday song sang by all present added that extra special moment. All guests are greeted as soon as they enter the cosy restaurant and many are known to you by name (as returning customers). We have eaten at your restaurant on many occasions now and we shall continue to visit to celebrate our special occasions. Colosseo’s is by far our favourite Italian restaurant. Thank you and your staff for continuing your hard work, delivering magnificent food in a warm, cosy friendly atmosphere. If I could give you more stars then I would. For those of you thinking of trying this restaurant for the first time, all I can say is it won’t be your last , you will not be disappointed and like me, I am sure it will become your favourite Italian dining experience.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, warm and inviting. We were greeted by the friendly staff immediately who checked in with us throughout the meal. The atmosphere was just lovely with every guest being welcomed in like family. The food was faultless, just excellent. If I could rate 6 stars I would. Had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming even from the initial phone call booking the table. The food was incredible and had very healthy portion sizes. The restaurant was well decorated, cool and spacious. Would definitely come back again!
Monday night with the wife,, restaurant was full , glad we booked .. I had roasted vegetables with chicken and gorgonzola cheese sauce .. smashing.. wife's steak was tender , been many times and never had a bad experience

Came here for my sister's birthday, and it was absolutely amazing. The staff are all brilliant and made her birthday dinner really special. The food was outstandingly delicious and I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu. Thank you!
Amazing food and reasonable prices! Really friendly staff! Been to countless restaurants in Brighton however this one tops the cake. A tiny gem hidden a few miles from Brighton town center but definitely worth the trip if you’re looking for good food and little bit of a laugh.
A really lovely restaurant. First visit this evening and it felt like a really old school, traditional vibe in the best way. Waiter always topping up water, lots of regulars obviously coming in. Staff were super friendly, attentive, food was delicious and they were really great with my children. Singing happy birthday for my 4 year old son out of the blue which he loved. Will be back!
