Lisa and Mike are such wonderful hosts and the warm welcoming atmosphere is enhanced by a fantastic selection of teas and coffee. Now with a superb shop, selling art and crafts, handmade soaps, chocolates and much much more. A fabulous place to visit, shop and treat yourself to a slice of heaven on a plate. The cakes are rather special.

Amazing little cafe with a gorgeous selection of cakes! It also has a good selection of tea, coffee and food. I had the big bacon sandwich which was delicious. My friends had the tuna melt and the Welsh rarebit which they both enjoyed also. Great service, nice atmosphere and good location in the heart of Hove. Will defintely be back!

Loverly staff! Nice varied menu, had Cheese Scone with a Broccoli Quiche off the counter and it can with a great onion chutney and shredded pickled cabbage. The boy had a huge veggie sandwich with Hallumi, eggs, sweet chilli, tomatoes and a load of other stuff. Highly recommend.

Delicious brunch with great veggie and vegan options. I had the vegetarian sweet potato hash and the flavours balanced perfectly. And great coffee and atmosphere to top it off. New favourite

They have postcards on the tables with questionnaires. One of the question is "how can we improve it?" I really couldn't think of anything that could make it better and I wrote "I think you've hit the nail on the head with this cafe." Everything about it is great: the coffee, the food (I had a home made Scotch egg with wonderful salad and chutney), the decor and the staff. The decor and lighting are really imaginative and it's just the sort of place I sometimes need to switch off and unwind. I said to the waitress "the only problem with this place is that I don't want to leave." "Don't go!" she said with a smile and it is one of the few places I've been where I really feel that they don't want you to go... There is no background music and this is so important as it allows you to sit with your own thoughts and contemplate life for a few moments. Its location is ideal: right opposite a big Tesco. There are loads of flash coffee bars in the area but this is the only one I'd recommend. I love it here and, as Arnie says, "I'll be back".
