Seriously regardless of the great music (usually Radio Paradise or FIP) & fine company (an eclectic mix of artists, musicians, photographers, locals, dogs & always-friendly faces) & the old-worlde feel from the antique/industrial salvage, the coffee skills of bossman Tazz are worth a visit alone, yet added to the culinary adroitness of an array of fine cake-makers like Maya, Matt & Holly, & the welcome you get from lovely staff like Josie, Lauren, etc Salvage Cafe is truly a home from home. New menu is great too. Some excellent additions this month!
Genuine place to get some really decent coffee and food to boot. Lovely place to spend an afternoon.
Absolutely love this place - total gem. The food is cracking and great value and there's always a great vinyl on the record player. Also they now have toad in the hole downstairs!
Give yourself some time in Salvage...
Where else do you get to choose the tunes to go with your food?!
Salvage is a joyful cafe and offers brilliantly priced food and drinks, not over inflated as per some cafés not too far away...
Super friendly staff, and I need to mention the art to look at and purchase if something grabs you. This is a place to visit and enjoy, at the moment it's Time by Culture Club that I'm tapping my foot to, to go with a delicious Veggie sausage and egg toast sandwich.
Amazing food. Service was lovely and staff extremely helpful in catering to vegan and gluten-free options. We will definitely be back!
Plenty of salvage to be seen in this cosy and cute cafe. Went here with my partner for Saturday brunch and ordered the special of mushrooms with blue cheese. It was really tasty! we both loved it actually. Staff were very friendly. It's pretty small, so if you're lucky you'll get a seat 😉
Salvage is the best local cafe, the cakes there are incredible, with always a new creative dish or dessert to try, like the one on the picture, fresh figue, pair and feta bruschetta, with herb oil and seeds to give some balance to the sweet and salty.
Thank you to the lovely staff
Great food and amazing atmosphere. You even get to pick the music from all the vinyls standing around. And the owner bakes the tasty cakes himself!
It was a lovely cafe to relax on a rainy day. It has a comforting feel with a good selection of cakes. You can buy almost everything that is on display apart from the vinyls and a few other things. I was on my own and felt incredibly at ease, just spending time reading with a tea and cake. A safe haven.
Highly recommend this cafe to everyone. The staff are all lovely and friendly and helpful. And the vegan options for food are always amazing
Fantastic. Lively, fun and very friendly. Great
selection of loose tea. Organic coffee. Lovely
food freshly made on the premises. Vegetarian
options. Local produce. All artefacts are for sale!
Vinyl wafting in the background. Dog friendly +
biscuits. Easy access. Downstairs toilet.
