A really friendly local restaurant. The staff give great service that is genuine. The food is really good. My favourite is the ginger lamb balti which is served with the biggest naan bread that I have even seen. Well Done Team Ganges 👍

First visit here and I was amazed at how it so positively contrasted to some of the reviews on here. The initial welcome was warm and sincere. The serving of drinks and popadoms was quick and relaxed while choosing the rest of the meal. My mild chicken dish (I had bitten my tongue earlier that day so a Madras was well off the cards for me!), was made to order, and really fresh and tasty. The Naan had clearly come straight from having been cooked and was a great accompaniment. My friends choice of a Madras was equally as satisfying and the rice was nice and fresh to go with it. When paying the bill, a brandy each was given to us without charge. That’s service! Thank you Ganges!

Had a fantastic meal here tonight. As always, the food was great and the service efficient. It was a Tuesday evening and it was quiet and completely different to when we recently visited on a Friday evening. Recommended.
