Simply the best fish and chips in Brighton. Not only everything was extra hot and fresh but more delicious with the home made tarta sauce. Staff polite and as for portion size well one was enough to feed two people. Would I come again? Without a doubt yes 🙂🙂🙂

Got take away chips yesterday.. They were crunchy outside cooked inside. Delicious.. We were very pleasantly surprised. Out new treat Chippy from now on.. Lovely lady serving. Staff were in extreme heat as it was hot yesterday. We got to wait outside.. They need fans these guys

Gluten free fish and chips (Monday and Tuesday only)!! Lots of care was taken in making sure everything is separated so there is no contamination. I ordered a medium haddock which was so much food but really really good! Service was outstanding! Thank you!

Good chips and tasty curry sauce. The prices seemed a little high, but I haven't bought fish and chips in the UK for a while so perhaps that's normal now. The service was friendly and pretty quick. Good selection of other items for those wanting something a bit different.

One time we did take away and one time we ate in. Service was a bit of an experience both times. Food was delicious both times, especially recommend the curry sauce.

As regular fish eaters we can recognise good fish. Had some really tasty fish and chips here yesterday. We took some away for ourselves and our daughter who lives nearby. Wasn't disappointed. Good friendly service as well.

For me the best Fish and Chips place in Brighton.....amongst many of course! And pretty much tried them all. Rich history of doing what they do and it shows, and now they do Gluten Free options their superb quality fish and always crunchy and big PROPER chips are available to many more people. Excellent portions as well, just the perfect mix of old school fish and chips shop but keeping up with modern trends as well.

Just had a medium cod wi’ chips. Lovely, hand cut chips too. Fish perfectly battered, and the mushy peas are excellent. Highly recommended.

Had a surprisingly good vegan burger here the other week for half the price of most other places! Simple and delicious. My partner enjoyed the hake as a cheaper option to cod as we all know how expensive it's got lately. Staff aren't very communicative but mean well, it's a chippy so.. Will be back!

Would have been 5 star but the batter on the fish was quite flat. Only other negative being you pay for a piece of fish with chips included. However if you don't want chips the price is the same because the chips are classified as free. The portion of chips were very large and we only needed 1 portion between 2. The large cod was huge and the medium was ample in fact deceptively filling as the cut of the fish was from the middle of the main fillet where it is chunkiest. Only a shame about the batter as previously it has been crispy without any soggy parts. At a guess the batter mix has changed or had plain flour added. If improved on next visit my review will be amended.
