Gorgeous quiche and salad. Lovely friendly, smiley staff. Was a lovely treat. Will definitely be back.
La la's is a cool place to eat with friendly and helpful staff. The menu is varied and always tempting ! Try it you'll love it
Great place to catch the sun on the rooftop and the food is delicious. A little pricey compared to other places on the same street but it is definitely worth it for a lovely meal. Counter service is rocket science to some and can slow things down a bit but staff are friendly and quick.
Delicious homemade food, lots of veggie and pescatarian options, the salads are amazing with lots of flavour packed in and if you haven’t eaten their chocolate brownie, you NEED to. It’s the best brownie in Brighton & Hove! This is lovely place to go eat lunch especially when it’s warm as you can sit upstairs on their alfresco area! They also do a brilliant veggie breakfast in the morning!
Some great healthy options (try the veggie smoothies for example) and a really nice space to be in. Although if there's room upstairs I recommend it, since their monster blender is a bit loud! Well priced healthy cafe though - one of the best places to eat in George Street.
Good veggie and meat menu. Decent coffee. Lovely layout inside seating outside and the outdoor patio upstairs is so pretty with flowers and seating. The staff are vigilant and hard working. Happy vibed cafe!
It's not called La La's anymore, it's called Rust. Had a very tasty salad and a spinach smoothie. Nice.
Great Vegan breakfast. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and chilled vibe. Bit too much sweet potato and not enough avocado but other than that I can't complain!
Nice place, specially upstairs where it is less noise. The terrace door needs some trimming as it is very hard to close in this cold days. Food tasty, yet the portions are much smaller than other places for same price.
Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, including a beautiful quiche (not vegan) and fritata with salads. Lovely drinks and good coffee & cake. Inside, we found a sun terrace upstairs.
Update 2 years on - now it's Café Rust: We only come to Brighton every couple of years, so it's been a couple of years since the last time we were at lalas. It's now Café Rust, but no matter.
Coffee still great, and pastries good and inventive too.
I shouldn't credit a café with great weather, but café Rust is well set up to take advantage of the sunshine even in late September - seating outside and on a sheltered sun terrace.
Very friendly, food looks great, lovely cakes, yum, good choice off drinks, Including there very own fresh fruit drinks, these are worth trying too,
There is plenty of space, downstairs, and upstairs, there balcony is amazing, with plenty seating and space too.
The roof terrace is a hidden gem in Hove. Great food at a good prices. Lots of healthy options too, including delicious smoothies.
