The food and service here are absolutely excellent, by far and away one if the best Indian restaurants in the area.
Great food and great service. I would recommend it
Our friends ordered a delivery from here a week ago for a group of us and were very pleased with the quality of food and at a very reasonable price. We decided to get another delivery last night and again, we very much enjoyed our food which was delivered, hot, very tasty and within 45mins. I will certainly be using Curry Mahal in future.
Since Curry Mahal opened last year under new management the place is "Dry as a Bone" but lack of alcohol is more than made up for by the great choice menu, great tasting food, fantastic service and very competitive prices. If you do feel the need for a familiar tipple there is a good selection of alcohol free beer and wine as well as an extensive "Mocktail" menu along with the more traditional choice of several different flavoured lassis' and the usual plethora of fizzy and still soft drinks. Great evenings dining which I plan to repeat in the not too distant future, Thanks team.
I had my dinner with my family in our brighton visit. It was nearly closing time when we reach over there, but very welcoming staff really appreciated. Really nice food and very good atmosphere. Affordable aswell.
Excellent food and service, always consistent ,we had a chicken tikka dansak, mushroom rice, vegetable dansak vegetable rice cheese and garlic Nan all were tasty and fresh
Hot, fresh, flavourful food every time. I refuse to go anywhere else for a curry! The team here are lovely, kind and polite and always go above and beyond for both dining in and takeaways. I prefer my curries extra spicy and they are always happy to make adjustments! Wide variety of options on their menu so there’s definitely something for every palate 😋
Strongly recommend Curry Mahal!

A bit expensive and small portions but good tasting food.
I won't order often but a nice treat every so often.
My local I'm from Pakistan and have tried other restaurants but this place is to my taste
Fancied a Take Away and after looking at the reviews decided to head to Curry Mahal. Once there decided to eat in and was welcomed by the friendly staff.
Ordered poppadoms and they were great - the sauces were lovely. We also had a Lassi each one mango one strawberry which were really nice.
I had a Prawn Puri starter which was generous and delicious, my wife had the Reshmi Kebab, again delicious. The mains lived up to the starters. My Shatkora Lamb had a lovely, unique taste...not spicy but full of flavour and the Prawn Dansak was cracking! For the sides - the Pilau rice was perfect and the Chana Saag was tasty.
They don’t serve alcohol - but do have non-alcoholic alternatives and mocktails. They do take-aways, so if you want a beer with it then go that route...honestly the food is worth it.
Spoke to our waiter and he said his family had taken over in September this year - after running a curry house in Shoreham for 25 years. The chef is also one of the original Curry Mahal chefs from before the previous owners. Really enjoyed it and will be back.
Sorry didn’t take pictures of the food - we were too hungry!
As always beautiful fantastic food lovely friendly staff. Very enjoyable
Absolutely 'The' best place for a curry. In the years I've been using Mo' at Curry Mahal I've NEVER had any gristle or tough meat unlike with some other curry restaurants. I've joined their loyalty program too with great offers sent via email often which really makes it a pleasure to visit them. Great food, menu and lovely staff.
(P.s. I'm nearly sixty so I've a lot of experiences to compare with)
