Lovely little restaurant just what we fancied. Owner was lovely very friendly, yummy food and reasonably priced. Will visit again when next in Brighton

I almost don't want to reveal how good this place is, as it's already pretty busy!
My partner and I tried Mamma Mi for my birthday with quite a last minute booking but were able to be fitted in near the end of lunch service. We are SO glad we found this amazing authentic Italian with fantastic service and just THE BEST food.
My partner is rather fussy about her Carbonaras but said that this was the best she'd eaten outside of Italy! (Considering the chef is actually Italian, that makes sense!)
The pizza was delicious with a thin base but not so thin it fell apart (my pet hate) and the ingredients all tasted very very fresh.
Normally I tend to only have 2 courses; starter and main, or main and dessert, but when the food was this yummy you've got to indulge right? As a result, I can also happily recommend the bruschetta and the tiramisu.
I can't wait to go back for more!
This place is more then an independent restaurant or coffee shop, it’s a piece of Napoli landed in the middle of George Street. Experience the real Neapolitan authenticity, from coffee until dessert, passing from pizza and pasta. The staff are excellent and super accommodating, Gennaro and Tonia, second to none.
I would recommend this place big time even for a quick takeaway coffee.

Delicious food and friendly service! We sat outdoors and our food and drinks came really quickly. We just came back from Italy and this pizza is just like the pizza we had in Italy (seriously..!). It is “home from home” Italian food. The garlic focaccia is also delicious. Plant milk available for hot drinks!
