We usually use the other fish and chip shop when visiting Howden but we were glad we tried this one today lovely friendly staff sat at the tables round the back and really enjoyed our food batter was crisp and golden and the chips very tasty we will definitely use this one again on our next visit

99.9% fish is cooked well so on rare occasions it can be over cooked but always very happy to go back. Chips are always well cooked and plenty so you won't go hungry. The staff are always really nice.

What a find! Super fresh, delicious fish and piping hot fresh cooked chips. The curry sauce was apparently delicious as we're the mushy peas. The service was friendly, welcoming and fast. We were given a free, large bottle of Pepsi to accompany our excellent value meal for four. We aren't local but will certainly pop in again when we are next in the area.

Travelled 50 miles from West Yorkshire to visit this chip shop. That's how good it is. Been a few times now. Always excellent quality. Best chip shop in Yorkshire 👍
