I visited Harvey's for lunch as part of a group of nine prior to attending a match at Huddersfield Town. I can give nothing but high praise for this venue and would highly recommend a visit.
All of the staff were friendly and accommodating when taking drinks and food orders and we were also welcomed by the owner who was interested as to how we found the venue and why we chose it having travelled up from London.
The menu is extensive and in my opinion has something for everybody and the food served was of a high standard. I myself went for the fishcakes as a starter and then had the hanging chicken kebab which was very, very good. The chicken was tender and the chorizo chips I ordered, which were a first, were also very nice.
Our waitress was happy to arrange some taxi's to get to the football ground which was appreciated and when we left we were thanked for our custom by the manager.
Was in Huddersfield for football and booked a table for nine,which included three kids aged between 10-14.
Had a great time.
Staff were very friendly and we weren’t rushed at all.
Owner came over and talked to us about the place and how we found it.
Food was excellent,would recommend the Harvey’s rarebit.
Main courses ordered ranged from pizzas and chicken burger,through to steak and a variety of kebabs.
All turned up together,well cooked and tasty.
Empty plates all round!
Would definitely recommend this place for a family lunch,or just a friendly get together.
Hopefully will be back next year.

Have enjoyed countless meals at Harvey's. Always a warm welcome, excellent food and great ambience!! The belly pork and patatas bravas are my all time favourites!! Please could you consider reinstating the chipolata sausages on to the tapas menu please!!! They were divine ❤️
Absolutely fantastic experience. I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time, I've always heard good things about it. I thought it was the perfect time to try.
Booking a table was easy could have done it online but opted to do it over the phone as it was short notice.
Arrived and was quickly greeted and shown to our table menus given and drinks order taken. Beer was cold and cocktails were tasty.
Didn't get a started or desert as it was lunch time so opted just for a main which was absolutely incredible. Steak kebab. Plenty of meat and bread. Tasty.
Would recommend anyone to visit here if they are in town!

Came here Friday night whilst visiting the area. Staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival and throughout the visit (Grace our server was amazing). Service was extremely fast and we got our drinks and food quickly after ordering. Food was all piping hot and fresh and no complaints whatsoever. Had several raspberry lemonades which were delicious and refreshing, our table had a lot of them and I’m almost certain we were the reason they ran out of raspberries that night! We’ve had a lot of bad eating out experiences recently, everyone should take a page out of Harvey’s book. We’ll be back when in the area again for sure!
Very tasty meal. I opted for Sunday lunch, the other half fillet steak and young one burger. We all left nicely full and satisfied. Professional staff and clean environment. I would highly recommend
We went as a party of 14 and we all got our meals at the same time. The service was excellent with them saying our names for the meals instead of the name of the dish which I found more friendly. The staff were attentive with out being intrusive. The meals hot and well done

Excellent food but if you don't like loud music, don't go there on Friday night. The musicians are very good but the venue is too small for live music. Absolutely deafening and it leaves you hoarse as well after trying to keep up conversation over the music.
