Where do I start, back in October I decided to hire the function room for a afternoon tea baby shower for a good friend, I rang the tea room to see if the date was free where I was greeted with a very friendly member of staff who was very helpful and told me everything I needed to know, a few weeks later I called to hand the deposit s in and again the lady was very helpful and the place looked absolutely lovely from deco to the cakes. Yesterday was the baby shower I was a little nervous but once I arrived the owner and staff was amazing the room was warm and welcoming the food and service was fantastic, thank you to all involved for making Katies baby shower a day to remember I really am grateful xxx
Lovely staff. Loved the deco! Cakes were to die for. Tea was one of nicest I've had. Definitely going to be a regular stop off point! Thankyou for the fab service, and see you next time!
The menu looked simple but when the food arrived oh wow! It not only looked good but it tasted amazing. I could taste good quality . The seating was good. Met with a few friends for breakfast. A bit pricier but sometimes it's good to pay a bit more to eat nice and good quality food. I hope they serve fried eggs in future or otherwise I can't go with my children.
Called in for breakfast when visiting Huddersfield this morning. As good as I remembered from my last visit a year ago. Perfect porridge with lots of fruit, nice quality toast and granola bowl, great tea and coffee. All presented perfectly and served by friendly and helpful staff. Couldn’t be better :)
Been here just twice. Both times service was quick and friendly. Food was good and slightly different (in a good way) to most eateries. Only small, so it gets full quickly. Would recommend .

Visited yesterday with my friend and 3 month old son - I had my pushchair / pram with me. Although busy the staff were great, we had to wait around ten minutes for a space to come available that would fit my pram in, and the space was perfect for a pram! The food is amazing here, prices are good, coffee made well. I had a scone with jam and cream with a flat white which was really nice. The only thing I’d say is the toilets need cleaning more often.
The breakfast we had was very good, service was really good and staff were welcoming. Although the pancakes werent that fluffy they were still nice. And the vegan Falafel open wrap was pleasantly suprisingly good. The hot chocolate was also a good hot drink and the coffee was good too. The blueberry scones are also a good item on the menu and goes well with the jam and cream.
We came here today for afternoon tea and had a lovely afternoon. All the food on the premises looked delicious and would definitely come here again.

I'm never disappointed when I eat here. As a coeliac I have had my fair share of rubbish food but here, the gluten free food is just as good as the regular stuff. Care and attention is paid to every plate and I appreciate that. The service is great and the staff are very good. The only thing is change is the noise level. The high ceilings could do with something to dampen the sound as it can get very loud when the place is full.
Love the Northern Tea House! This is a lovely quirky place to sit and have breakfast, brunch or lunch. Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. Highly recommended, this place is worth the visit.

Amazing breakfast and amazing customer service from Tom. He was on point with the way he dealt with us and he was very polite and respectful in the way he conducted himself. He left a very good impression on us. He was very attentive to us and we never felt er had to look for him or wait to be dealt with. The breakfast was the best meal I have ever had. When I come here from London and always make sure I come here for breakfast.
