An excellent village pub at the heart of the community, not only serving the normal bar food but also excellent gourmet food as well. Steak night is a must or the fish and chips are the best in Huddersfield!

First time visit, superb Sunday lunch for mum's birthday. Amazing pea and ham soup followed tender sirloin of beef.
It was a surprise birthday dinner for my spouse. Rachael was awesome and ensured that we had a great time. Loved the serene environment and the food was delicious. Definitely, will be back.
