Ace pub. Super friendly, clean, well run with straight forward high quality food and they sell farmers blonde! Kids made to feel welcome. Our favourite pub in the Holmfirth area, highly recommended.

1st time in the rose and crown great place to eat and drink service and the staff were so nice and very friendly.

Met friends for lunch. There was an extensive menu with lots of choice. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was a generous portion even for the lite bite lunch and everything was hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend it and will be returning in the near future

My wife and I found this place a few months ago. We are now recognised regulars for lunchtime visits. The ales are exceptionally well kept and a great selection always available. The food is fantastic. We particularly like the smaller options of the main meals. They are a lower price, great value and we don't feel like we've just tried to finish off a Christmas dinner. Great food and great value. Be seeing you again soon.
