Came here on a Thursday lunch time, about half hour after opening. Was greeted promptly and shown to a table, staff were friendly and welcoming. Good variety of dishes available from the menu(s). Some great deals available. Food was served fairly quickly and was hot and tasty. Wide selection of beers and wines behind the bar. Really friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking spaces. Free wi-fi. Definitely worth a return visit.
Had a lovely dinner here today, a favourite meal of mine Char Grilled Kebab. In this case I had the chicken version and it was so good. Tasty and genuinely great value. Will certainly be back
Revising my review which I did about a year ago as the High Park has undergone a refurbishment and is no longer an Eating Inn but is now A Pub and Grill under the Greene King ownership. The service was good, no long waits on drinks or food in comparison to other place. Had the macaroni cheese, it was okay, nothing amazing. The cheese wasn't very flavourful. But otherwise a cheap and cheerful meal. The hot chocolate drink I had was decent enough.
Always attentive as I often visit with the children. Excellent customer service, really tasty food and reasonably priced.
