The food is basic chain pub grub. Cheap and cheerful. Beautiful building, well decorated. No complaints about the drinks at all. The staff are fantastic. Always really friendly, hardworking and professional. Big thank you to Beth, who always makes us feel very welcome.

Had my baby shower hosted here, the staff were so lovely and friendly, helped me set up as I was heavily pregnant and the buffet food was tasty, affordable and large in portions. Will be visiting for a tasty lunch/dinner in the future. Special thanks to Beckie the manager for being so friendly and answering any questions I had!

Ordered food eventually as only one member of staff behind bar. Staff very pleasant. Was charged for 4 pints which we didn't order but were refunded when asked why the bill was so high without any problem. Had a mixed grill which was ok but the steak was very tough and gristly and the peppercorn sauce was £3.50 for a tiny pot and was very watery. Rest of the order was fine. Would recommend the steak pie though as it looked like a portion for 2 lol . Nice family pub too with lovely surroundings
