Excellent 2 course lunch menu for under £20 with lots of choices. Huge portion of very fresh fish and chips went down well, and the calves liver with onion and mash (along with nicely presented fresh veg) was very flavourful. We will definitely book for their Sunday Lunch, as I would expect the quality will be equally high.

Absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The staff were so warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is lovely. Noisy but not loud, just a great atmosphere of everyone enjoying themselves, because the food is just exemplary. I can't remember the last time we ate so well. The service was brilliant. Thank you to all the staff there. We will definitely be back again. I highly recommend the fish Thai red curry. And sticky toffee pudding.

I don't know who's giving this place less than 5 stars but they must be idiots. Food is superb and well priced. Had the 2 course for £16.95. I had Chicken liver pate to start and roast of the day for main. Which was beef brisket. My have ha the spring roll for starter and the roast of the day sandwich which she couldn't finish. Definitely going back sometime.

We had a Saturday afternoon with friends. It was quite busy, we got our table very quickly and drinks quickly. The main meal did take a bit of time to follow, but it was the pie of the day, which was a suet pudding, not really a pie. However, it was great with large chuck chips. For pudding, it was sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. Unfortunately, we found it to be a little too dense nearly rubber in the centre as it looked like it was made of 3 layers??. Sounds like the cheesecake was a better option??

We will return the Yorkshire pudding was amazing. I just thought the the meat was a little over done but not enough to leave it. The cheese cake was amazing too. Huge portion of fish and chips and that was just a child's portion.
Extra gravy given with the meal nice touch also.
