Had an unprompted visit to this pub for Sunday lunch with a table of 6, today. Nice decor, warm amd cosey. Great service. The kids had kids menu, which had good variety and was great value. Adults had a roast, which was a generous portion with four veg, and optional cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets, with a choice of three meats too.
Highly recommended.
Stayed for a couple of nights to follow our football team at Huddersfield. A decent pub within walking distance of the town and a bus stop outside. Live music on Saturday night. We had a problem with the shower, which was fixed the same day. We would happily stay again as we liked it.
Great little pub to stop in for a drink. The prices are pretty decent and there's a good selection on tap. Staff and regulars are extremely welcoming and friendly. Perfect for a quick break whilst you're in the area.
Really enjoyed my tea at Croppers tonight really yummy food, not a lot of choice available from the menu but I had the sausage & mash with sticky toffee pud for after and it was delicious I would defo order it again. The lady working was lovely and very attentive despite her working on her own. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
A huge thank you to Keiran & his team for a most enjoyable stay , the rooms are very bright & modern , en suite , very clean , the bed is extremely comfortable good quality mattress so excellent sleep , food was really good , good cask ales , staff & customers very friendly, prices of room fantastic value for money , nothing is to much trouble for Keiran & staff to make your stay enjoyable, will definitely stay again in the near future
Probably only pub in Huddersfield i havent been in previously..really lovely atmosphere...efficent staff and cosy decor.
Stopped in here on a crawl up to Lindley.
Friendly staff, good service and great beers.
Nice beer garden, area out back.
Plenty parking if you're driving.
