First time I've been back in a few years, different staff, different cake selection, but still amazing service, a friendly atmosphere and properly good coffee.

Our first trip out as a new family. A member of staff kindly came and helped us get our pushchair up the steps for the entrance. Fortunately got seated on the ground floor and enjoyed the world going b

I've been visiting Coffeeevolution for over 20 years, since the days it was a really tiny place over the road. Over all these years it has retained its charm in terms of the fab atmosphere and amazing coffee, as well as lovely cakes and small dishes. There are also some decent beers and ciders in the fridge.

Coffeevolution review: Over the past few years since moving here for university studying Graphic Design, I have really enjoyed coming here and grabbing a coffee on the go or spending an afternoon, trying to get an assignment or commission completed. The coffees are by far the best ones I have ever had and their sandwiches are delicious! Highly recommend.

Coffee Revolution review: A really cosy, intimate space that’s perfect for writing or just relaxing. We ordered two hot chocolates which came with complimentary whipped cream, marshmallows and chocolate dusting and two sandwiches. Sandwiches were filling so you got your moneys worth. You’re asked what kind of bread you’d like, and can get recommendations from staff too. It’s table service so you can relax in the space whilst your food is being made. Because of the reasons mentioned, the space is very popular with yummy mummy’s, students and people that want somewhere to work so be fast if you want to get a table. The setting had a nice, rustic and relaxed feel. Down stairs was little draughty, wish there was a little heater. We had a lot of time before our train and this was a cute place to stop off, would visit again. We were warmly surprised! - H💝

The best coffee I've had in some time. I've ordered two different sandwiches, one on panini the other sourdough. The breads got mixed up. Not a big thing as we've shared halves of each meal. For our liking there was too much sweet chilli sauce in the turkey sandwich and too much chutney in the veggie one. These condiments obfuscated the flavour of the sandwiches' ingredients and made them taste cheap. The contactless payment hasn't gone through on one occasion, so I had to enter my pin on a massive screen visible by few of the customers behind me. The worst terminal solution from privacy point I've seen. That said, the place is dog friendly, the atmosphere is good but the coffee is that one thing that would make me go back there hence 5/5 rating.

I've lived in Huddersfield all my life and I can't believe I've never discovered this amazing coffee shop. The coffee was delicious and much preferred over a Costa. Glad my mate took me here it's a nice atmosphere and has wonderful staff.
