We always enjoy visiting the Yorkshire rose . Lovely food . Lovely atmosphere. Staff are all great. Nothing is ever too much trouble . Always happy to help. We request space for a wheelchair and they always have a space ready. Great pub . Great food . Great all round. Well done all. Keep it up .

The vibe was absolutely incredible and all the staff were extremely knowledgeable in helping me decide the best drinks to have. The team member Kyle was especially helpful in helping me choose a drink choice. Everyone was very friendly and kind and gave off excellent vibes.

Visited last week for food with friends. Staff were great, Dan was really friendly and hilarious. Food came out quickly and was really nice. One of us had the pizza and another had the ultimate spicy beef burger, both piping hot and tasty. We will definitely be back.

The staff were extremely helpful we turned up with no booking just as the town football match had ended for my daughters birthday, they managed to sort a table for 7 without any fuss even though they were extremely busy. The food was tasty and there wasn't much of a delay even with how busy they were.

Was welcomed on my arrival by a member of staff at the bar.
After ordering a drink he explained how to order at the table which was easy and the service very quick.
The food I felt was to a high standard I was very impressed.

Lovely welcome and service from Grace. She kept us updated of a small delay, and was ultra polite. Food was sent out quickly and was of good portion size and piping hot. It was our first time there, but we will be returning when back in Huddersfield.

Staff are brilliant. Really friendly, really helpful despite I imagine being paid minimum wage.. the food comes out quick and is decent for the price. The music however is ridiculous. Pretty much everyone in here is baffled by Christmas music in September and I’ve heard several people complain. Almost funny someone thought it was a good idea but actually it’s just really annoying. Please review your music playlists!

Went on Thursday for the quiz and the food was great, filling and tasty. Food came quickly and there was a great atmosphere. Thank you to Dan for great service and the delicious apple crumble, I will definitely be coming again! (Also thanks to Grace for helping out too😉)
