Fantastic staff. Awesome atmosphere. We hosted a baby shower in the room upstairs. I would recommend this amazing place to anyone. Sam was so helpful & friendly. We had a absolutely fantastic time.

Absolutely brilliant atmosphere, everyone acts like you're a local even if it's your first/ second time. Man behind the bar - assuming the owner has brilliant banter, really jokey and sarcastic which makes you feel right at home. Amazing selection of spirits, beer and even drinks on tap are brilliant ( all blondes by the looks of things.) I have told them that this pub is 100% better in pricing and atmosphere than others in Lockwood. There is also pool and darts available. Cannot recommend enough.

Every pub should be like this. A traditional boozer with weekly events. Heritage interior and a landlord who looks after it. Good selection of ales.

We went to find the horrible beer. Was looking forward to trying it, but sadly couldn't find it. So we intend to go back on Friday to try some more of the lovely nectar.

What a terrific pub. Est. 1975 and reopened after closure late last year. Stone building on a cobbled street, interior still has its fixtures and fittings, multirooms with games - darts, dominoes, chess, pool table upstairs, several cask ales and a thriving social scene once again. If this is your local then you are very, very lucky

Good friendly local not a bad selection of real ales shame they don't have Timothy Taylors Landlord On draught anymore unfortunately Taylors Boltmaker is not an adequate replacement. Apparently they have plans to expand.
