Lovely chips on the occasions I’ve been! A slight crunch, fluffy and flavoursome. Good grease… The service has always been top notch and the portions are hefty (four scoops for a portion of chips is v good!)

Called in for fish and chips today and may I say it was the best fish and chips I've had in a long long time well done Golcar fisheries.

Visited today for the first time ever whilst working on the co-op next door and felt an overwhelming nostalgia, the only thing missing from this place to make it a traditional northern chippy is newspaper. If it had been wrapped in newspaper I could've easily felt like I'd gone back in time 30yrs. T
