If you’re looking to pig out and enjoy a dining room away from home, Hare and Hounds is the place for Sunday roast and a desert to follow. Hare and Hounds is also pet friendly pub with a dedicated section at the entrance. For mains we ordered turkey, 2 pork bellies and a trio. The roasted veg was c
We had a great time here. The food was beautiful and the weather was fantastic to sit outside and eat our lunch and take in the fantastic views. It was my husbands birthday and the staff where brilliant brought a cake out for him. Staff all really nice and friendly Highley recommended 👌 also I loved
Lovely place, very dog friendly with a jar at the front for treats, poo bags and a hydration station! Dogs can sit inside in the bar area which is big with comfy chairs and a nice atmosphere. The dog was very happy with his sausages from the dog menu which had plenty on it.
Our first time here, really enjoyed our experience, say in the lovely beer garden overlooking beautiful views. Large car park, food was good and the staff are very friendly. We will happily go back there.
Love the Hare & Hounds. Plenty of parking. Lovely outdoor setting and cosy inside, though quiet at the time we went (mid aft')..... Staff pleasant, helpful & professional. Had a lovely lunch with my husband, but had issue with our Vintage voucher offer when paying, which was due to expire, hence the
Met a friend there & had 4 well behaved dogs. We sat inside, in the dog area, which is to the right & back of the bar area. An extensive dog menu, along with treats, poo bags & water bowls that you can get yourself. A warm welcome as you enter, order food at the bar, food is delicious, never had
Decent parking. Comforting feel inside. Food was lovely. High chairs provided and children plate and cutlery was very hand. Staff friendly. Has toilets and baby changing area. Price was decent. Had dog treats and bowls in entrance. And even blankets. Lovely place.
Beautiful location! The food was amazing and it was topped off by one of the best desserts I have ever had!! Had the Camembert bites for the starter, Hunters Chicken for mains and Chocolate flower pot for the dessert. Highly recommended for an afternoon lunch ! Staff were all in tune with each other
Arrived early to sit outside with a drink & take in the stunning view before our meal, we sat out past our booked time as, I asked if we were ok to enjoy the view/atmosphere a little longer ...all through, staff members were so courteous & accommodating. We travelled a fair distance to visit & ...it
Great place to stop for a meal, nice food, friendly staff and great views if sat outside.
The place was very welcoming. Beers are good. The food a little overpriced and only average. Service fairly good girl behind the bar was good but the youngsters a lot to learn.
A really nice pub in a beautiful location. The views over towards Castle Hill, Huddersfield are lovely. The food is great, I had the fish and chips and they were delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of parking space and outdoor seating. Highly recommended!
Service was friendly and quick. Food was very good and came out hot and within a reasonable time. We should have asked for more gravy but that’s the only thing lacking
I haven't been here in a while and thought it's a great place to take my partner. It's rare to find a place that sells gammon which is one of my favourite meals out. The staff are very friendly and helpful Welcoming on entry to the bar and very prompt The food was great and looking out from the beer
We have not actually been a customer here but I thought they deserved a review for their kindness. We were travelling past and my son was sick in the car, it was late and the pub had closed but staff were still on site. They provided water, tissue, cloths and spray to help us clean my son and the ca
