Walked past this place a few times on the way to n from Huddersfield royal but never called in so this time we thought we would call in for a coffee plus a slice of cake but turned into a full breakfast . Car parking was very easy the garden centre was very accessible being on the ground floor plus restaurants up some stairs or lift making it a lot easier for wheelchairs plus prams . The customer service was just fine served with politeness plus not a short wait for food plus the view from a window slot was very pleasant . Yes it was a bit pricey but in this day n age for well cooked food I guess ya can’t complain for good quality food in a nice area aswell . Look forward to calling again for some cake

We had a look around and I bought a rose from the discount area. I thought this to be good value for money and was happy with my purchase. We went for a coffee, but had to wait for a while as they were prioritising meals. This was frustrating as people ordering meals were served first and didn't have long to wait. The staff were run ragged, tables weren't cleared away and the general running of the café to me was disappointing. After saying all that, the food looked good... but a little expensive for what it was. Cake per slice averaged just under £5! A homemade scone was £2.55! I have found similar prices in other garden centres, and feel that they are taking us all for being rich pensioners! This couldn't be further from the truth... but, if we continue to pay and not complain prices I'm afraid will continue to remain high. The garden centre perse, is well kept and like others makes a nice day out.

Consistently great range of items and amazing customer service. The staff are always very helpful and give perfect advice when needed. They rotate stock quite often so there is always something fresh to browse. The cafe upstairs is also worth a try during your stay. There are many great choices available and lots of options for people with dietary requirements. All in all it's a lovely place to go for any gardening, pets and indoor gardening needs, with a lot of additional items available too.

Great selection of plants, garden equipment and exactly the right decorative stones I was looking for! Everything here seems to be sensibly priced and good value for money. I was served by Toby on the checkout today who was really pleasant, polite and so helpful. I always find the customer service here is brilliant. Keep up the good work, it is much appreciated!

I would give it 5 stars but since it's changed to another company they have stopped doing the member card which I used a lot last year when buying my garden things and I also think they might have made the prices more expensive then what they were before but that would be cause of the pandemic going on. They still have an amazing selection of plants and tools for the garden. They also do have a gifts section down stairs which is filled with lovely house products and gift ideas as well as season stuff which is handy if your thinking off getting someone a lovely plant and a little extra to go with it. These are some off the plants as well as pots I have gotten from there and are very happy to have. The staff are helpful and friendly can't say I've ever had a bad experience going to this garden centre as it is lovely just a shame on them changing company.

I knew this place when it was Armatages garden centre. Haven't been for a while and was surprised to see it is now a Wyevale. The layout is pretty much the same. Its a good place to go shopping, although it's maybe a little expensive. Good selection of goods and well laid out. Easy access for the disabled and plenty of room for wheelchairs. Nice clean toilet facilities, and the cafe is well appointed and relaxing. Unfortunately the service let's it down terribly. I joined a line of four people waiting to get be served, it took over twenty minutes to get a coffee and scone. Very very disorganized verging on chaotic.

We Visit regularly. Very good garden centre. Plants always very good quality, reasonably priced. Good selection to choose from. Well stocked. Plants to suit seasons. Same inside, good selection, well stocked. Stock to follow seasons. Very good choice of wild bird food, feeders etc. Gift area, again Well stocked, good choice. Seasonal displays, and stock for Christmas excellent. Displays and stock to suit seasons year round. Tea room/ restaurant is good. Plenty of choice. Plenty of tables. Plenty of parking, on a slope. Good access into centre. Definitely worth a visit.

Lots of parking, staff are very helpful, very spacious cafe with a good choice of meals. The prices are fair and a discount card is available too. We've returned on a number of occasions.
