Nice centre in Huddersfield town. A lot of the shops are closed which is a shame, but this area is being earmarked for the Huddersfield Blueprint so will see a lot of regeneration

Me and my wife went here yesterday to see our sons photo exhibition and it was lovely and a nice place too

A really vibrant creativity community has gathered in these spaces. Really worth a visit, so much going on for all ages. I really hope we can keep this strength in the town centre. Would love to see more consistency with some longer term activities and opportunities as well as the short term spaces.

Out of the way on a shopping plaza with an occupancy rate of 40%
This little shop is a must to see. Full of hand made objects.
There are more things in this shop than the museum unit that is 20 it's size.
The smell of the wood. Mahogany and cedar is something to behold.

Pleasant shopping environment. It's a shame Internet shopping is gradually killing these place off but glad it's still going strong(Update Nov 2022 Now shut down by Kirklees) . Kirkleeas council should do more to help businesses and customers in the town centre instead of hiking rates up and banning cars and fleecing people on car parking.

Had a good range of shops until recently. The seasonal public ice rink and community space infront of the library were always enjoyable as a child. Such a shame that this aspect of the town will be lost due to the blueprint plans - loss of a unique space to create a barron empty space that no doubt won't be used half as much as it is in its current form.

It's a well looked after garden centre. A bit on the pricey side, but if you joined their members club, you get 10, 20% off items. They have a cafe and one a month (if you're a member) you get 2 drinks free. The membership is £12 per year. It's worth a visit.

Love this market. Been coming since a child and some of my favourite shops are still there! Huge range, restaurants and butchers. Have everything you could need

The piazza indoor market is not what it used to be however there are still some good shops in there such as a tool shop which saves a trip to B&Q and is in the town centre. There is also a Button Box for sewing related products and a Garfield's which do nice baking.
