The Good Stuff Caribbean Cuisine

Usually outstanding but not last night. After going back and forth with the restaurant the food arrived in the end 2.5 hours late! Such a shame as eaten here a few times and the lady is usually lovely however hung up on me when we finally cancelled. The worst part is when the food actually arrived it was really bad of which is a shame. The picture is of the fried chicken. Last time it was like a lovely Caribbean version of KFC (but better) this time it was like it had been reheated and it decided it had given up and fallen apart. Can’t and won’t eat there again now and that is a shame.

First time I ordered, food was great. This time no so much. Mac and cheese was sour (off) stuffed dumplings were stale and hard ( or over microwaved ) Jerk chicken was a completely different dish than I ordered the first time. All thrown in bin. A complete waste of money and also 40 mins late. 6 unanswered calls to store. Never again! I know we are in hard times and I'm trying to support local businesses but I wont support this one again. Disgusting and disgraceful. I tried to call to complain but they wouldn't answer the phone.

The food here was not good at all they gave me rice and peas which smelled like the pan of rice had burnt at the bottom and made the rest of it smell so when I got home and open the container it absolutely stunk the curry goat and chicken both had a sour taste and the patties were shocking it all went in the bin went in the bin saltfish fritters were nice the lady made them fresh and also the Fried dumplings she made fresh. The two ladies at work here are so nice unfortunately the food was something else I would not recommend this place they are a lot better places in Huddersfield 4 Caribbean food

Do not order from this takeaway. Ordered off just eat, takeaway stated it would be 1.30hrs for delivery. We were OK to accept this as it was a Sunday. Two and a half hours later, having been told that the food would be with us shortly via live chat, somebody from complaints via just eat got in touch to say the takeaway had no driver available, so would be unable to diliver our order. They could have told us this at the time of ordering, two and a half hours before but instead chose to waste our time massively before cancelling the order. Both myself and my partner work in healthcare and have 12hr shifts tomorrow, meaning we have been left hungry after most local takeaways are closed. The best just eat could offer by way of compensation was a 10 pound voucher, frankly considering we are now going to bed hungry and over tired before a long work day tomorrow, that was an insulting response. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Ordered directly via the website via yo yo with promise of 10% discount. Appreciate just eat take a hefty charge so tried to look after a local business. My order was cancelled within 10mins and told to call a 'local no.' I spoke to a Mohammed from Denmark who told me refunds take 5 days!!!!! I asked to speak to his mgr and he told me he was the only Mohammed in Denmark and I told him I was the only Kevin in England. I wanted my money back instantly. He told me he had other calls to answer and hung up on me!!!! I have call time & date and I have been a call center mgr for 2 companies. DO NOT DEAL!!
