Kafka Bars

Great venue, great food and drink, great vibe. The menu was quite limited in relation to hot food; sandwiches and toasties with the option to add fries. Plenty of sweet options like cake and waffles. Although I believe they are updating their menu for autumn / winter. That said, I had a ham and cheese toastie with fries, and a chocolate and biscoff cake. They were both fab. Plenty of good quality ham and cheese used in the toastie... Good hot fries... And the cake was amazing. All super tasty! I had a hot tea and bought a friend a cappuccino... They were good too. And it's all really reasonably priced! The staff were super friendly and attentive enough. The vibe was laid back and friendly with a bit of eccentricity in its decor. Important to support local businesses, and especially so when first starting out - make a trip out for your lunch to Kafka - it's a good spot. I believe they do social events on the evening too but haven't looked into this yet. Good job, Kafka! I'll be back.

Best bar in town, excellent choice of food and drink at very reasonable prices. Staff are second to none, very knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend this quirky bar to anyone, no table is the same and the decor is so contemporary. Look up Franz Kafta and you'll definitely not be disappointed. 10 out of 10 👍👍👍👍👍

I went here on Saturday and I was really surprised that Huddersfield now has such a hip bar! The interior is just up my street and you'll definitely be impressed by all the mismatch weird and funky decor. The bar staff already had a little name on the table for me and they where very attentive to our needs and made sure we always had a drink at our table. I would deffo give this place a 5***** and I will be back in the future for sure!
