What a great cafe. Food, drinks and staff are wonderful. The lady who served us (I think her name was Rose) told us all about the Tutti Pole tradition in Hungerford which was so interesting and she was quite passionate about it all... fascinating. Latè coffee was nice and hot, the tea was just how I like it! Perfect. Situated next to the canal and bridge, so worth a visit before or after a walk along the footpath.
I recently visited a restaurant called **The Tutti Pole** and I was impressed with the quality of the food and service. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. It's located next to a beautiful canal in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Although parking is difficult, it's worth the effort. I ordered the full English breakfast and I was pleased to see that the eggs were on a separate plate and the bacon was well done. The breakfast cost £9.85 which is reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout my meal, making sure that everything was to my liking.
I would highly recommend **The Tutti Pole** to anyone looking for a great dining experience in a beautiful location.
Please support the amazing English gem and pay it s visit
What a little gem. My husband I had a lovely coronation chicken salad. The staff were all very friendly and execellence service. We finished our meal with salted caramel icecream which was delicious.
Had a wonderful breakfast here. Staff and friendly and make you feel at home.
A local institution with lovely pictures of Tutti days old and new, and the ladies who serve are so friendly. Good traditional home cooked food. They also sell.Movenpick ice cream which is great quality and do a decent cup of tea.
Fabulous experience. Lovely waiter. Excellent selection of food including gluten free. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend.
“What a delight - it reminds me of my grans baking”
This is a fantastic example of an old fashioned restaurant with lots of charm and cakes that have still been home backed and remind you of the good old times when Gran invited you to tea.
Whilst I was waiting for my car to be finished I was looking for a nice place to spend roughly about an hour. Walking over the bridge I spotted this lovely cafe which had me intrigued. Upon entering the shop I was immediately greater by the gorgeous smell of freshly baked scones which immediately sealed the deal. When asked if they baked their products here I was told that they baked all of their stuff fresh and themselves.
Being a sucker for traditional english cooking, especially scones and cakes, I sat down and spent the next 40 minutes reminiscing whilst enjoying the most delicious scones I have tasted in a long long time coupled with homemade jam. WHAT A DELIGHT!!!!!
They also offer a wide variety of food for lunch or dinner which, if the baking and tea is a standard to go by, will be great too. All I can say is that if you fancy sampling some of the best scones around and, like me, want to be reminded of your grans good old cooking then this is the place to go. Truly a great experience.
What amazing cakes!
When we entered and saw the outdated decor, we thought that a quick coffee would be all we go for. Having visited the bathroom and seen the cake stand it was decided to go for them. The blueberry cheesecake and the jam and cream scones are amazing. If you go for a tea at F&M you are a fool. Go to the tutti pole tea room instead!
Oh, they make their own jam too!
Great service,good food,great location.
Busy, and rather loud, needed to eat out in the courtyard for some p&q Thursday lunchtime
Home cooked delicious food, great service with a smile and 'old tea room cafe'. Great!
