Visited the chip shop as we have been told its under new ownership. we had 2 cod and 1 chips to share fish was too big for us to finish but we can say the best fish and chips we ever had from this place. its a shame that they do small size in haddock but not in the cod.

Heared about the chip shop that Its under new ownership so we thought to give it a try. Haddock and chips are excellent much nicer fish than before and good value for money now. Good luck to the new owner.

This was recommended to us by our Son & Daughter in-law who have a caravan at Orchard Farm we are staying there ! We had Fish &Chip each one with peas u must say it's the best fish &Chip we've had in a long time could say perfect very tasty 😋 was also met with a friendly owners definitely recommend!

Cooked fresh. All clear plates. No complaints from the family. Good old traditional fish n chips. If you want fancy pants extras then this isn't the place (plaice) everyone should support your local little chippies and keep our local businesses alive. Thank you captains table, see you again soon !

Best fish and chips had for a long time nice and crispy batter good chips. Saw barrel of chips in back and me wife and daughters reminisced about when we had our chippy

We stopped by with the kids. We got there as it opened so not much of a queue. Glad I did as the queue got quite long before I left with my order. Always the sign of a good fish and chip shop!
Still very COVID cautious, more so than other fish n chips outlets in nearby Filey. But understandable.
Good fish and chips, certainly filled myself and 3 kids!

Thanks to the review by Robert Burgon we tried this place when looking for a local chippy whilst on holiday. Lovely.... white chunky cod with nice crispy batter, chips were yummy and some of best ever had and decent mushy peas too. All in all very enjoyable. Well organised for Covid restrictions too.

Great fish & chips, we’ve been a few times and it’s always been freshly cooked. Friendly staff, good system. Very happy - will be back for sure!
