The Wheatsheaf - Huntingdon - Photo album

Another family get together, this time at the village of Perry near Grafham water. The wheatsheaf is a beautiful old pub, the staff top notch & the food first class, representing exceptional value for money. Service was perhaps a little slow, but it was a very busy afternoon and the staff seemed to
Attentative staff who made us feel welcome. Beautiful small garden area which was glorious in the sun. Good selection of traditional home cooked meals including some specials. Very reasonably priced. Good value for money. Small car park and some on street parking... which included some locals on tra
This is a fantastic pub and restaurant. We had booked a table but chose to sit in the garden as it was shaded. 4of us are and the quality of the food was exceptional. The steak was cooked perfectly and obviously a quality piece of meat. The fish and chips were light and fluffy. We shared some desser
Good value pub grub. We normally stop here while walking around grafham for lunch. The sandwiches are nice and come with tortilla chips and a side salad. The brie and bacon is my favourite.we have also had the roast once which was good.
Nice pub with garden. We stopped for lunch, and I ordered a glass of malbec, which was horrible. However, they happily changed it, so I ordered a Molntepulciano D'abruzo 2020 bottle, and it was very good. Food wise, I would rather order the beef and stilton pie instead of the steak, I ordered rare,
This is a Green King pub, that has really good food, and there are not many other options in the area. The service was good, pretty quick preparation of food even when they were very busy. Prices were moderate and fair for the meals. The portions were of good size. There's great indoor and great out
Went as a group of 17 for a birthday meal. Good service considering the size of the party and the pub was full. Good size portions but presentation still good with reasonable pricing
Lovely village pub. Had a great lunch here with the family. A good selection on the menu. Can recommend the Shawarma which was beautiful. Food came out promptly even though the place was busy and the service was spot on.
It was our 1st time here and it was amazing. All staff were very busy but very attentive. Our food was so well cooked and very tasty & enjoyable. They seemed to cater for all walks of life. Workers/cyclist/dog owners/children. We will definately be going again. Loved it so much
The food was excellent with service that was top notch. There would have been pictures of the food but it was too good to waste time taking a picture. We had the steak and kidney pudding, it was the best I had ever had.
Beautiful beer garden. Lovely to sit and have a glass of wine after the 9 mile walk around Grafham Water
Lovely pub in wonderful setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. We only stopped ✋ on our walk around Graffham water but the food looked amazing and we will be going back for lunch soon
This is a really good pub, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. I had the steak and stilton pie (proper pie) which was the best pie I have had in years. I will return to Grafham Water just so I can eat here again.
Went in just got a drink so can't comment on food. Lots of people eating though. Will certainly return to try the menu. Sat in the garden on a sunny day. That was busy too. Finally returned today on a Tuesday lunchtime. Very busy. Most tables booked. Lovely beef sandwich with a side of excellent c
Went here last minute for some food. Nice pub, clean and friendly. Food was good, red hot too.
Bit disappointed there were no vegan options for coffee but pleasant place friendly staff. Was passing and needed a quick drink.
Nice reception. Varied menu at reasonable prices. Starter was fish cake, very tasty. Main liver and onions well cooked and really worth having, sweet chocolate mousse which was a decent sweet. Staff attentive throughout. Would recommend.
4 of us dined here on Saturday 22nd January. 3 of us got starters which were lovely. The mains were spot on. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Will definitely be visiting again next time we are down NB: Photos are of the Chilli Beef with Pineapple Rice and the Gammon Steak with Pineapple. Chi
