This is our local haunt for good food and a catch up. The food is always consistently good, made fresh and to order.
Because the cafe is set in a converted house it has a warm and cosy feel. There are little nooks to hide on a cold day where you can have a coffee with good friends and just forget the world.

I have to admit, this review is 2 years old, but when I last ate at Alex's it was one of the best Sunday roasts you could get. Everything was cooked perfectly, and had both quality and quantity. Will definitely visit if we're back in the area, but thanks to Alex and his staff for a great impromptu visit.

Great little find in Huntingdon. Lots of seating inside & a pleasant garden area out the back too. Menu has quite a few veggie & gf options & they have gf bread available. Quick service. Pictures show halloumi wrap & halloumi toasted sandwich on gf bread. Wifi available.

Three of us visited there on the recommendation of a colleague at work. The welcome was warm and our waiter knew his stuff especially the bottled real ale. There was a varied evening meal menu together with a small specials board. The food itself was good and hearty. Only problem was it was quite warm inside and there wasn't any air con. Would visit again. Two courses and a soft drink for about 25 quid per head.

Driving home from Kent after a wedding and if the weekend wasn't already amazing we found this wonderful cafe that serves the best food I've had in a long time with brilliant service from Tristan. This really was the icing on the cake for us. Highly recommend eating at Alex's Cafe.

Some really good food is served here. There are no drinks on tap, but the selection of wine is responsible.
