Went there for breakfast. They have a dog friendly area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't intend to, but bought Skechers before we left. (I bought 1 and Nancy bought 2) Didn't get anything for the garden.

Generally clean and well stocked. Plants well kept and cafe is pretty good too. Lots of parking and wide aisles for easy access and navigation. Also small shops such as a butchers are also stationed inside the greater garden centre building, as well as a separate mini golf course outside at the rear.

Very disapointing range and quality of plants and garden products. The store seems to rely on the outlets within and the cafe. The out let's did have some good selections and we'll priced. A quarter of the store was food related. This was pricy high.

Lovely garden center. Inside you find Waitrose, Mountain warehouse , Aquatic fish store amongst others. Lunch it's very nice with good customer service. Also looks like they support people with some disabilities at work. Which is always nice to see. * Extra for it. Well done 👍

Variety is always good. Plants, seeds and bulbs are good quality. They have a variety of garden furniture and accessories but are expensive for what they are. If you don't mind waiting, have a shop online. Staff are helpful and the addition of Waitrose is what the place needed to make it a one stop shop for essentials too. The butcher's (Walter Smith) are brilliant. For value for money, they are the best around and always have excellent cuts on show. If you want specifics and volume, I call them a few days ahead and its always sorted. Took away a star for the food hall. Good food at good prices but the queues are always long and slow. Even on a mid-week visit it isn't great. Weekends they seem understaffed but still work hard to get everyone through. Still, 20-30 minutes stood in a queue with the kids isn't ideal.

Popped in today for coffee and things have changed again. The counter for coffee is to the right and it looks better. Plenty of cake choices. I had rhubarb and custard which was really good. The pavers shoe section in the retail outlets is very good. They have a seating area to try them on. It’s a nice place to visit.

We have popped in to Dobbies for breakfast as we frequently use the Ponteland branch. The idea of having a restaurant area with dedicated table service is a brilliant concept. To be greeted by Mandy made our morning as she was extremely welcoming and helpful. Frankly seldom do you come across people so engaged and understanding what true customer service is all about, Mandy thank you for your passion and this is why I just needed to say thank you publicly.

Love this place! It has Waitrose with an amazing deli counter and a cafe which sells great cakes. Only downside is that the children’s play area is not free and you have to pay for them to play there. I think this is a bit of a cheek after you gave paid to eat in the cafe.
