The Castle in Hurst is a very plesent place to spend an afternoon or evening, dining on some well thought up menu's from resident chef, Jerome. They have a great selection of wine to go with the superb food. Jerome is a great chef and has a wonderful staff to look after you too. Definatly worth a try!

Spent an hour or so at this pub. Nice place. Very old. Very helpful, friendly staff. Food looked good. We saw two Morris dancing groups demonstrating, Hurst and Bracknell. Car park space limited.

What a lovely place! Amazing roast dinner today. I am very fussy about the quality of a roast dinner when eating out but this was top notch! So much I couldn’t eat it all! Staff & landlord really friendly & chatty. Will definitely be going back for another roast very soon 😊

Really welcoming pub with some different menu options made the visit well worth it. If it is a sunny day then there is an amazing outside space and if you like lawn bowls then you're right in the action.

Fantastic lunch at the Castle Inn. We kicked off with the pork burnt ends, very nice start! For mains, I had the whole seabass which was truly one of the best seabass I have ever had. Two others had the burgers which was also delicious. My daughter had the ribs which were falling off the bone, very good all round again!!!!

Great staff. Made to feel welcomed. Ran out of fish and chips so only 4 stars but the food we did eat was excellent as usual.

Lovely lunch in the garden. Really good pub food with imaginative vegetarian/vegan choice. Very welcoming and accommodating staff.

Really cosy olde pub. Can feel the history. Nice outdoor seating. Didn't eat but good beer selection and friendly staff :)
