Best fish and chips ive had in a long time. Definitely my go to if im in Burgess Hill. 10 minute drive. Onion rings are great too and its a well run and traditional establishment, everyone is smiling, helpful and dressed smart. A proud establishment and the fish and chips taste perfect.

The fish and chips here are always immense. Be prepared for a wait as everything is freshly cooked, but it's well worth ten minutes of dangling around.

May just be my favourite chippy. Excellent selection of food, including light bites/smaller portions, Locally sourced pies and sausages. Staff are friendly, service is superb. Would heartily recommend. Worth ordering in advance at weekends though!
Delicious food freshly made to order, ready after ~15mins. Staff are very kind. Only feedback would be that the curry sauce is a little salty - but we just didn't salt the chips to offset.

I'm not local to Crossways, I was staying at an Airbnb just down the road, actually live in London. I can honestly say this was the nicest fish and chips i've ever had! Crunchy fluffy chips, crunchy fresh tasty fish that didn't fall to pieces and wasn't soggy with oil. I think I said "wow" too many

Excellent Fish & chips quality in Hurstpierpoint. Just how I like it! Light batter and not oily. Portions of fries are big! We're lucky to have such a take away at our doorstep. Very friendly people. There is always a queue - testament to the high quality - so factor that in when you visit.
This is the best fish and chips that my wife have ever had. The batter on the fish was ligjt and crispy, like tempura batter and the fish was so tasty. The chips were fantastic, very crisp...An excellent meal, thank you.
