Best fish and chips ive had in a long time. Definitely my go to if im in Burgess Hill. 10 minute drive. Onion rings are great too and its a well run and traditional establishment, everyone is smiling, helpful and dressed smart. A proud establishment and the fish and chips taste perfect.
I’ve been coming here for the past couple of years, I don’t write many (if any) reviews. I felt compelled, due to the quality of the fish and chips here. Crossways is excellent, outstanding, superb. I think it’s ‘up there’ as the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and I have eaten a lot of fish and chips over the years! Definitely the best fish and chips in Sussex!
All fried freshly to order, very friendly staff. Order in advance if you can.

I’m amazed that a small chippy in a small town, village really, presents some of the best fish and chips in the country.
We recently visited Rick Steins chippy in Cornwall, got to say I think yours are better.
I’d visit more often but I live 360 miles away so it’s a bit of a track!
