Beautiful house and Chapel. Stayed for just under a week for an Icon Painting Retreat. Excellent food and accommodation. Lovely staff.

A great place for a quiet day, time for prayer and reflection, as well as excellent quality food and drink. Staff are always friendly and helpful to enable you to have a good quiet day, to enjoy silent retreat, or to just explore the gardens and nearby countryside
Never knew this place was there until today.
We stopped for a quick mooch about, and had a pot of tea which was served quickly and was hot.
Noted they have cakes, including a gluten free selection, which we didn't partake of but they looked good so worth a try.
If you are that way, drop in.
Fabulous Christian retreat and conference centre. The grounds and cafe are open to the public. The hospitality is warm and welcoming. You won't go hungry here either.
Called in today for a look and a coffee , what a beautiful setting for what I can only imagine is a truly magnificent place for quiet contemplation, prayer and thought, the coffee was well worth the visit and the carrot cake excellent. I wish I had taken more photographs to better show the surroundings. We will return for afternoon tea and complete my photos.
Magnificent tranquility ...the quietness gives "you time" with fabulous views at this beautiful Christian retreat ...Lots of caring staff and magnificent choices of meals and wonderfully cooked ..staff go out there way to make you feel welcome at this beautiful Abbey
I only stopped by on a mountain bike ride, what a find. Beautiful setting great cake and coffee. Definitely visit again.
