Great food, friendly staff and the Owner Rana is such a nice guy. So welcoming when you turn up. The restaurant is really nice as well, they have done a great job in renovating it since they took over. I remember the old owners with dodgy floors and sticky carpets. All the staff really friendly as well, I was going for a takeaway this time and I was asked by everyone if I was ok and wanted anything. All smiles and looked happy to help, food wise can’t fault it. Tastes brilliant and Rana also gives good recommendations as well.

We had Royal Indian come out to cater for our wedding at our home. The food is very authentic. It tastes phenomenal. Surinder and team kept in constant comms, was available whenever we needed and provided proper advice on what to have to make sure the party went without a hitch. I would 100% recommend the team here (and we travel 40mins to come here!!). We also had the waiting staff hired from Royal Indian and they were super professional and helped the wedding go without a hitch. Superb all round. Thank you.

Went on spec last night and arrived when a coach full of customers just arrived. Not a problem we were shown to a table and served promptly with some excellent food definitely will be back soon.

Went there in August, making a booking before hand. The owner, Mr Rana, was very courteous, polite, and was taking interest in his guests on individual tables. He was interacting with every-one of the guests and making sure that they were happy. Its this kind of personal touch which makes a restaurant stand out of the crowd. The restaurant itself was quite big and had excellent interiors and beautiful decor, and plenty of free parking. The food was delightful, the starters were modified to our taste and the curries were excellent. The plates for main course had been decorated with each plate decorated differently. The food could be compared to a Michelin star restaurant without the expensive price tag. Each of the dishes was bursting with genuine Indian flavours and each bite would leave you wanting for more. The food was reasonably priced and the portions were more than sufficient. We would definitely go there when we visit Preston again!

Best local Indian we have tried. Thursday evening visit, outside looks shabby but don’t let that put you off because the service & food were excellent. Paneer tikka starter left your tastebuds tingling. Murgh Mirch Masala was as the menu said hot but just enough to give you that head sweat that tell you the heat was just right. Vegaterian option ( my friends order ) was also very tasteful. Best garlic naan’s ( not too thick ). We will definitely be recommending this place to all our friends. There are a wide variety of vegetarian options on the menu not just the same old boring ones you find on most menus. Enjoy your visit 👍

A Royal Feast to Remember ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we stepped into The Royal Indian, we knew we were in for an exceptional dining experience. The warm, inviting ambiance and tasteful decor set the stage for the culinary journey that awaited us. What followed was a symphony of flavors, as we indulged in the best chicken madras and lamb bhuna we've ever tasted. The chicken madras was a sublime concoction of tender, succulent chicken in a rich, aromatic curry, striking the perfect balance between spice and depth of flavor. The lamb bhuna, on the other hand, was an absolute revelation. The slow-cooked, melt-in-your-mouth lamb was cooked to perfection, with a harmonious blend of spices that left us yearning for more. Khalid, our server for the evening, played a significant role in making our experience truly memorable. He was attentive and professional throughout our meal, always ensuring our glasses were filled and our needs were met. The Royal Indian's attention to detail, from the exquisite presentation of each dish to the impeccable service, is truly unparalleled. We cannot recommend this gem of a restaurant highly enough, and we eagerly await our next visit. If you're looking for a tasty dining experience, look no further than The Royal Indian.

Since this place has reopened it really is fantastic. Great food, reasonable cost, clean and well mannered staff. Also lots of asian families dining which is always a good sign.
