Staff are fantastic! The shop is very tidy love the selection ! When they first opened years ago I did not get it ! But now love it ! Why 4 stars because the pastry is to thin to hold the weight of the filling and they are very generous with it ! I found most of it leaked into the bag a bit messy ha ha but loved it !
The ginger cake is awesome and I am a fan. Staff rarely looks at customer’s face. Smiles are a strict no no. I feel either they are not loving what they do. They could do with a nice small gentle smile
Use this store quite often and the staff are great always a smile on their faces and polite! Always service with a smile and manners. Just what you want when your ordering your food :-)
Unfortunately the prices have increased dramatically, the quality of the ingredients have subsided and the staff don't give a damn. Not a very friendly place at all. Used to be ok for a guick bite but no longer the case. Nasty cheap muck.
Why has the "Pound" Bakery added more money to most of the products? Also I have noticed that when I am waiting to be served the staff are more interested in chatting to each other and also have an attitude problem which I find very rude. Use to come here all the time but will be taking my custom else where!
