Best fish & chips ever! We had cod with a cod roe on the side, as my husband had never tried it! So so good. Beautifully cooked food, comfortable restaurant, great manager/owner - we actually didn’t ask. Really friendly man. Go, you won’t be disappointed 😁
Best fish and chips I've had in ages! Haddock so flaky, perfectly cooked and lovely a bit crunchy chips. Just right!

Fish and chips was lovely. Service was excellent and the staff there are so lovely. Couldn't fault it. Left a nice little tip aswell because it was so good. Will definitely be going back.

The food was amazing, as were the staff. It's hard to get fish and chips just right, you can end up with too much grease, or anaemic chips that still have some crunch to them. You don't need to worry about that here. The chips were fluffy, and there were so many of them. The fish was huge and cooked perfectly, and the mushy peas were made on site and tasted beautiful. Great value for money. I sat in and dined, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were all laughing and getting along with the work in a happy manner. I will absolutely be coming here again, I can't believe I hadn't before!
OH Just Wow what a great find the best fish and chips I've had in years maybe even ever that's how nice this place is. Staff so friendly the place is absolutely spotless the food is absolutely amazing the fish chips and mushy peas I ordered was fresh hot and ever so good the batter melts in your mouth yummmy? If you enjoy your fish then this definitely a place to visit.

The chips could have been crispier, but maybe after our stop in Belgium we are a bit spoiled concerning chips
Although under relatively new ownership, the restaurant is a little tired. The ladies toilet was quite shabby with a loose seat and a tap that did not turn off. Little things that would make a huge difference and reasonable to fix. ....Food on the other hand is excellent and freshly cooked to order.
Oh my gosh the fish and chips are wonderful and succulent. The service at the take out is excellent and had a laugh and conversation with the serving guy. Good value for money
