@Capricho, thank you for hosting such a wonderful night. The food was absolutely delicious. Wonderfully presented plates and oh my goodness, the steak! Wow, I'm a stake lover and of late, I haven't been able to find a stake that I can actually say, I enjoyed it. But your stake on the stone? Wow! Tender and juicy, and I was able to cook it to my taste. All your dishes were beautiful and absolutely delicious. You have gained another customer. Ah and not to forget, all your staff is friendly and attentive, offering a good pace service. Thank you.

I had an incredible meal here last night with my Mum and Sister The food was amazing. The tuna starter was absolutely sublime, not something I'd normally order but was recommended by my sister. The steak was perfectly cooked, seasoned perfectly. Genuinely the best steak I've had at any restaurant. The sides that accompany it (creamed spinach and sweet potato) were also a great accompaniment. For dessert, we had a sharing platter. Everything was delicious(especially the 'Portuguese cake') presented with so much care and attention to detail. The service was unbelievably good. So friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, always happy to help with even the smallest request. It's quite a journey for me to get to this place, but am already planning my next visit

Until this evening, my benchmark for restaurant reviews was based on a French Restaurant in the South of Holland. Capricho were faced with an extreme coeliac and offered a hot stone and steak. I suggested a mixed sea food grill on the stone instead and they rose to the challenge. I was provided with hot stone and fresh fish. A house selection of Samphire, punched potatoes and crushed garlic in olive oil with carrots and broccoli. The vegetables were al denté, fantastic and tasty. The fish was fresh and the hot stone was perfect for cooking at the table. I have absolutely no problem recommending This restaurant for their attention to detail, their knowledge of food allergies and the friendliness of the management and waiting staff. …. And the wine was great! Authentic Portuguese food that deserves a Michelin star. ⭐️
