Amazing Chinese. To start off, I love Chinese food.. I was really having this craving for Chinese since I didn't have it for a long time. And was looking up for something good near by and found "Yen li". And I wasn't disappointed at all. Quick service. Authentic taste - why I say authentic because I have a taste of Indianized version and it was simply it! Good quantity. Nice little ambience. For me it is an escape for Chinese near by now.. 😊😊

Good place to have Indian Chinese food in London.Very fast & good service .I used to visit Yen Lin whenever I visit London.
Prawns & chilly paneer my favorite.Manchurian fried rice is very tasty.
Mr. Lin is the real deal - from Tangra, Kolkata. He claims Tangra Chinese food is rubbish and he serves the real deal. I agree with Mr. Lin. If you're from Kolkata, he'll know what you're looking for. The dry chilli chicken (think he calls it crispy chicken) is the real deal. I think I'll be heading here at least twice a month. This is my dream come true.

A classic favourite restaurant, which I used to order a lot of take outs from. Great for Indian Chinese food, especially chilli paneer, which is one of the best available in London, indian-chinese style. They have good fried rice and schzewan fried noodles. I haven't dined in the restaurant but I am sure it would be a good experience since the food is so great and tastes very good.
Had a wonderful time at this Halal Chinese restaurant. It was my first time and we were not disappointed at all. Food was great, better then most Chinese I had over the last few years, and the atmosphere was good as well.
Grils were great with the service, were very agile, quick to take the empty plates away and polite and helpful at the same time.
I think the girl named Hong at the reception was their team lead and was managing it all very well. She was fast and very responsive and looked very experienced in dealing with a busy restaurant.
Overall a great team effort backed up by great food. Highly recommended!
the exterior and general decor of this restaurant may put a certain demographic off - those who are used to frills such as flower walls and dry ice will not be pleased with the dated hole-in-the-wall style of yen lin.
however as far as the food goes, it has to be the most authentic tasting chinese restaurant in the area. it has a well deserved respect from locals so i thought i would try it out myself and i was not disappointed.
overall the food was great, you could taste the strong oriental flavours in each dish. the crispy chili chicken and garlic squid were standouts for me, strongly recommend those. i was served promptly by the friendly waiters and can’t complain with the service. and although the carpet looked like it could do with a revamp, cleanliness was not an issue either.
seems like the perfect spot for families and those looking for a quick bite. i left my house and went there, ate, and drove back within the hour.
Nice family friendly restaurant. Very simple decor but flavourful food and reasonable prices.
The crispy chilli chicken was my favourite thing on the menu. Amazing as a starter.
Prawn toast also a nice starter (quite oily so wouldn’t have too many)
Chow mein was very tasty and had a slight smokey flavour.
The only thing that wasn’t great was the sizzling beef - odd flavour.
Would visit again.

As always, a pleasant experience. Customer service was very very good, food also was delicious, all dishes were well made.
A bit disappointed with the Manchurian chicken, but spicy crispy chicken and others were really good. Good sized portions.

We decided to try this restaurant out and I’m so glad we did! The staff were very attentive. The food arrived promptly and tasted delicious. Price are very reasonable. We will be definitely be coming back to try other dishes.
If you love good food, this is a must go place. It is exceptional as I have not eaten in any other that is comparable. Genuine fusion of Indian and Chinese. We have been going here 20+years and cannot remember a bad evening out. A little heavy on the oil sometimes but thats about it. Down to earth simple place with food that you could spend 4-5 times as much in central London. Book in advance.
Pretty good food! Good service. Would definitely go again. It's not the fanciest or prettiest place but good food is good food.
Ordered extra spicy for some of the dishes and yep, made me sweat! Totally worth it if it's your thing. I would avoid the saucy dishes. Just my opinion. The normal dry, crispy stuff is brilliant ! Singapore noodles and Manchurian fried chicken rice is also amazing!
Loved the food, been here in 2019 and it didn't disappoint and again in Jan 2022, still great food! Be back again in August 2022. Back again for new years dinner and even though there are new owners the food is still delicious! See you again next year!
Travelled from South London as there isn’t any Halal Chinese eat in spots. Overall great food and wasn’t not disappointed, loved that it was nothing fancy. Food was quick and fresh. Menu is halal and has many options.
Lovely restaurant.
This is not your typical Chinese, which tends to be on the blend side. This is the kind of Chinese that you will find in India; definitely caters for Indian pallet. Made by Chinese people so had that authentic touch.
Customer services is good, food came quick and tasty.
Nice decor, definitely good for family atmosphere and kids.
