It was our 1st time visiting Danny's.
We were made very welcome by the nice lady at the till.
The service is outstanding.
The food was excellent quality, especially the hand cut chips.
It was extremely clean & comfortable.
The prices are very reasonable too.
We just beat the lunchtime rush as we left at 12.15!
I would highly recommend Danny's if you want a quick snack or substantial meal.
I just wish I lived nearer to be a regular customer!

First time back since revamping the restaurant, I was pleasently surprised over the changes. The food (breakfast set #2) was fresh and well presented at a fair price too. The staff were friendly and polite. Definitely would recommend Danny's to fill a hungry tummy. It can get quite busy around lunch times.

I've been coming here since I was a child, with my mum and dad always bringing other families over to this cafe as well.
The best cafe I've ever eaten at bar none. Great service, classic pie and mash styled food and interior. Great portion size when eating in.

I’ve been going to Danny’s for quite a few years now, don’t always have there fantastic pie & mash as they have a wide selection on there reasonably priced menu so occasionally temptation gets in the way and after all variety is the spice the spice of life.
The shop is very clean and tidy, very friendly staff and separate toilet facilities are available and finally there’s even a section of the shop that allows outside seating on Barkingside’s High Street.
Go there once and you’ll go back for more.

Dan the man. + all the fabulous staff. Great pit stop of a cheeky spot of lunch. Pie mash liquor. And a nice coffee to top it off. Lovely place + nice history behind the brand too.
Outdoor dining is the cherry on the cake.

As some people have said this isn't just a pie n mash shop. That said it does the best pie n mash I've had anywhere and I've had it in lots of places! Yes they do use an ice cream scoop for the mash but what difference does that make? The rest of the menu is also very good and the home cut chips are especially good. It's always clean and the staff are very friendly.
