The Thatched Inn

Absolutely incredible place. Great food, super accomodating to us booking a table for ten at short notice and went above and beyond to make sure that everyone was comfortable in our variously neurodivergent party and even to spend ages at the end helping us to divvy up the bill. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending them, will definitely return next time I am in the area!

I wish I could give more stars! I rang late on a Saturday evening after being letdown badly by another restaurant. The lovely lass on the phone couldn't have been more careing and polite. We got there a few minutes later, and where greeted by a lovely gentleman who was very understanding of my sons needs being autistic and away from home food can be a difficult thing to navigate. The two female servers we just amazing all 10 of us. The food was to beautiful and to be honest it didn't take a massive time for it to arrive, the kitchen is small and only one chef on that day I believe. We waited under half an hour from order to arrival, I have waited in spoons longer!!! Every one made us feel welcome and relaxed just wishes we lived closer as would be back in a heart beat.

We eat here and we enjoyed our food we prebooked as it was school holidays! Really good selection of beers on tap Child friendly and provided us a highchair Would come back again reason for 4* and not 5 was my food wasnt piping hot but I didn't suffer from any illness or anything so I wouldn't say this was a major issue would come again though for sure

We visited The Thatched Inn this week for the first time. We were greeted with a warm welcome, followed by communication about the pub being short staffed, if only other pubs would display such excellent communication! Our food was banging arrived promptly, was fresh, utterly delicious and great value for money! Thank you for such a lovely evening! Jacob was a super example to the rest of the team who were also on point!!! We’ll be back!!!
