This is an artesian restaurant with a very long waiting list, however it is worth putting down your name as it’s a culinary experience not an ordinary meal out. Unique food in a wonderful atmosphere, I recommend a visit to enjoy this wonderful place.

My favourite restaurant, not just in Ilfracombe but anywhere. All the food is superb and beautifully cooked and presented. Only open Friday and Saturday but always worth the wait. Great staff too.

The Angel is a real little treasure box. The interior is old, beautiful. and very cosy. It is a charming little restaurant. You feel instantly at home. The service is excellent and the food delicious. The menu is perfect - not a long list of items but enough to have a good choice of everything. We loved it so much, we made a reservation again for the following week before my holidays ended. The two ladies are very friendly and helpful and the service is very attentive. The next time I visit my friend in Ilfracombe it is a MUST go there again.
