A lovely little café with a great dairy free selection of hot and cold food. Loads of choices of toppings for jackets, panini's and baguettes. The caramel cake was delicious! And the little ducks out the back are adorable. Highly recommend!!

Plenty of tasty and adventurous options on the menu, chilled and cool place to spend some time and very reasonable prices, they even do cream teas if you fancy a proper Devon experience. Lovely little cafe. Friendly service, nice place to sit and most importantly vegan cake options! They also cater well for gluten free and had lots of nice looking lunch options. I had the vegan fruit cake which was delicious!
We've been today to this lovely place with our dog. food was tasty and a lot of vegan choices as well, you could make your own sandwich and lot of herb teas choices. Staff very friendly, very very raccomended
Consistently good and reasonably priced, Grassroots Vegetarian Cafe is the only healthy food kitchen for miles. Unfortunately, Ilfracombe probably won't ever lose its greasy spoon culture, nor its very short working hours habits.
I would strongly recommend this veggie restaurant, even if you're not a vegetarian. The food is really fresh and tasty and there's lots of it. I had the cheese and tomato frittata which was divine with the best salad ever. The restaurant is brightly decorated with beautiful sunflowers on the walls,
