Lovely pub with a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great beer and good prices too. I definitely recommend a visit.

A purpose built spoons in a beautiful location. The decor and design inside is
very good..lots of exposed granite and timber. Hard wood flooring and lots of glass. There is also an upstairs open area with good views. Typical spoons food..always prompt and hot. Tim definitely knows how to do it.

We've been 4 nights on the run and the food and service did not waver from excellent any evening. The staff are friendly and helpful despite being extremely busy, the prices are very good. Would recommend to anyone

Lovely place with great food and nice friendly stuff.
Food was served quick despite large amount of people inside, all fresh and tasty as much as it could be in these type of bars.
Strongly recommend for everyone looking for a great place to rest and got decent food, or dink without spending fortune.

As with all the Wetherspoons pubs, this place was really good. Enjoyed breakfast while waiting for our boat ride to Lundy. The service was great and the portions and prices were as usual very reasonable. A short 5 minute walk from the harbour and plenty of parking spaces nearby. Will definitely recommend the full English vegetarian breakfast.

Absolutely outstanding visit today. I was taken back by how efficient the staff were (checking outdoor areas empty glasses, plates etc every 5/10mins), some of the most polite and welcoming I've met, the bathrooms were clean, the food came quickly, well presented, the right temperature. Honestly, we visited here because we had a long journey from London, didn't know the area and didn't fancy getting "dressed up" - well to be honest, I think we'll get dolled up and re visit before going back home! Massive thanks to all staff and I hope you're all appreciated for your hard work.

Probably the nicest Wetherspoons I’ve ever been to. I know that isn’t saying much but it’s relatively clean, food is passable and arrives quickly. Reasonable prices as you’d expect and you don’t have to climb Everest for the toilet which is a bonus.

Very good food, really enjoyed and needed. Spent time mooching around Ilfracombe, which was really nice, the restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. Food came out quick and was very tasty! Lured us into a false sense of security and we thought it would be ok to go to the weatherspoons in the centre of Barnstaple... Bad idea!
