We always have a meal here when we're in Ilfracombe. The fish is freshly cooked and the chips are great. You can have a beer or wine, and the service is informal and friendly. They welcome dogs. It's on the harbour, close to Verity, and we usually go for an ice cream from one of the shops afterwards. It's unpretentious bliss.

As fish&chip shops go its a really good one, much improved in recent years, and a great place for a casual fish supper whilst down at ilfracombe harbour. The two of us both chose the recommendation by our waitress of the fish&chips dine in meal deal which includes a soft ir hot drink and 1 side per person in one set price. Fish&chips with mushy peas and a coke was my choice.

5 star food and beyond! The service was so thoughtful, warm and prompt and the team really welcoming. We even witnessed the owner drop everything to give a family a lift back to their B&B as the cab company was too busy! The food was very fresh and as good as anywhere for quality and extremely good value. Dogs made very welcome and kids treated so well. Great place.

The food is excellent. They also are good with allergies they have gluten free options too. The girl with red hair ( kat )was a great waitress if you come here have her as your waitress.

It may have just been the timing of my visit, who knows. However, I've just had the best cod, chips and mushy peas I've had in a long, long time. Highly recommended. Great food at a terrific price point and with great service.
