I have never used the delivery service here, only ever collected. The longest I've ever waited, having walked in and ordered, has been 10 minutes, but usually it's more like 5.
The food is really tasty and good quality. I've never noticed that gloopiness that you sometimes get in the sauce once a Chinese starts to go cold.
The crispy beef is crispy, the noodles are tasty and the rice is good. All sauces are flavoursome and there is a broad selection of sweet / savoury / sour / spicy options.
Prices are reasonable, but not super cheap and it's cash only here, which is a bit of an inconvenience.
I've only ever seen one lady who works behind the till and she's really friendly and patient with someone like me who can be a bit slow to choose.

I had the salt & chilli box meal and omg the flavours, the crunch, the crisp! Everything tasted amazing, cooked to absolute perfection and very affordable too! Will definitely be coming here again as a regular

Second time having a delivery from here since moving to ilkeston and can't complain. Food is spot on, plenty of it and they do the fried rice just how I like it! Definitely found our new Chinese takeaway

Quick delivery. Food was nice and hot. A little overpriced but paid for the convenience of justeat service. Not as good as hon wah in kirk hallam, but better than marble.

The best Chinese in Ilkeston hands down. Fantastic value for money, really tasty and fresh food always served hot, friendly delivery driver and their salt and chilli mixed box is a firm favourite. Have recommended to family who now use them frequently. Highly recommended

Third time ordering, always get a freebie which is appreciated. Got our order wrong tonight, missed one item and the veg pancake rolls had meat in them... Not good, but mistakes happen, one phone call and replacements here in 20 mins, very quick to fix the issue, replacement veg pancake roll was frozen in the middle... Oh well, food was still nice none the less despite minor hiccup. Kudos to the restaurant for doing their best to rectify.

I use to use sun do all the time and loved it. It then changed hands and went down hill but tried them again about a month ago now and again tonight, i have the same thing when i order i have chicken curry and egg fried rice and its delicious! The curry sauce is the best. Would recommend.
