My favourite Betty's. Lovely food in lovely surroundings. Well worth paying a little extra for the experience of a proper English tearooms.
My favourite Betty's, Toni the waitress is wonderful, miss going there every week now Bills not with me.
We went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. There was a wait of about 20 nts before we got a table which was a pretty short wait as waits could be longer here. The immaculately dressed staff in white was friendly and helpful taking our orders. The food was served freshly made and it was hot and Nice. The fish and chips was awesome, by far the best we have had anywhere. The ambience of the place is wonderful.
As you would expect from Bettys. The service was excellent our server was lovely with my little boy. The food was lovely and well presented, even though they were busy with a que waiting to be seated we didn't feel any rush.
First visit to a Betty's and it lived up to expectations. Service was brilliant but not too formal that it made you uncomfortable as a 'normal' visitor to Ilkley. Breakfast was filling and delicious and will have to come back one day for afternoon tea. No queues on a Sunday morning too which was a bonus!
Absolutely posh!! Myself, my sister and sister in law and mother went for lunch yesterday (02/08/23) and it was amazing!
Staff were extremely friendly and served us promptly and seated us, they were great and looked after us and their uniforms looked amazing.
The food was extremely incredible, the sandwiches were lovely! And the milkshakes were lovely made with proper ice cream, and the chips were lovely also. The lemon curd cake that I had for dessert was just lovely with raspberry sauce and a scoop of strawberry ice cream!
The atmosphere was lovely, we all felt very comfortable! It was just lovely ☺️

Classic English afternoon tea and cake with friendly polite service. Excellent cakes. We had the far rascal which was a kind of rich scone with lots of flavour. Had a nice seat by the window and our waiter was a gentleman taking care of our every wish. Sterling silver teapots. Delicious coffee and hot tea.
Fabulous food in a lovely setting. You will probably have to queue but it's worth the wait. Staff are friendly and attentive and it may be expensive but the food is top class. Clean and tidy environment and a lovely shop on site. Dietary needs catered for. A wonderful treat 😍
We called in this lunchtime for some sandwiches and buns for a picnic in the lovely weather, the sandwiches were made fresh and the staff were very friendly and helpful, highly recommended for takeaway or afternoon tea unfortunately not doggy friendly.
1st time at Ilkley cafe. Excellent food. Lovely staff. Great veggie afternoon tea
