We went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. There was a wait of about 20 nts before we got a table which was a pretty short wait as waits could be longer here. The immaculately dressed staff in white was friendly and helpful taking our orders. The food was served freshly made and it was hot and Nice. The fish and chips was awesome, by far the best we have had anywhere. The ambience of the place is wonderful.

We had a ~20 minute wait for a table for two, but this was around lunchtime on Easter Monday, so not unexpected. We were given menus to peruse whilst waiting, and once we were seated the service was prompt and fantastic. The food was just as good and we left very full and very happy

As you would expect from Bettys. The service was excellent our server was lovely with my little boy. The food was lovely and well presented, even though they were busy with a que waiting to be seated we didn't feel any rush.

This was my first time trying scones and british food in general. Loved the scones, they were lovely with clotted cream and jam. The tea however was average. Would totally visit again just for the scones. The staff is lovely too!

Always good, if you're prepared to wait. We were three ladies on a 'treat day', and Betty's is a always a treat. Food, service and atmosphere were 5 star. However a word of caution, the cakes in the shop sell fast. When we went to buy cakes after our meal to take home for later, they had sold out. Next time I'll try and remember to buy the cakes before our meal to avoid disappointment.

Not the sort of place I’d normally, we came here with my partner’s mum to celebrate her 80th birthday. It was really good and we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were all lovely, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I had the schnitzel which was excellent, as expected, the tea and cakes were fabulous. Highly recommended, I’d come back in a flash!

Classic English afternoon tea and cake with friendly polite service. Excellent cakes. We had the far rascal which was a kind of rich scone with lots of flavour. Had a nice seat by the window and our waiter was a gentleman taking care of our every wish. Sterling silver teapots. Delicious coffee and hot tea.

First visit to a Betty's and it lived up to expectations. Service was brilliant but not too formal that it made you uncomfortable as a 'normal' visitor to Ilkley. Breakfast was filling and delicious and will have to come back one day for afternoon tea. No queues on a Sunday morning too which was a bonus!

This was just a little treat for a coffee break while in Ilkley. We were seated quickly, and our drinks and cakes came quickly, too. It was very tasty and sweet. We looked through the shoo before we left and, of course took a treat home with us
