Stayed here for two nights and the view is insane!
Both my rooms where spotless,cosy and comfortable. (Booked another night separately)
The food is lovely, it is on the pricey side. Loved my Vanilla iced latte one of the best I have had!
Big private spacious Car park.
Our welcome to the Cow and calf was so warm , the bar and restaurant are excellent, my only observation would be to turn up the heating in the bar and restaurant and bedrooms during this cold spell , after sitting down stairs in a draughty bar area we went to our room to a window leak in room 4 , not much warmer. A new radiator heater was very kindly provided
The housekeeping is excellent ,
No complaints, just an observation.
Maybe yorkshire folk are hardier than us Southport folk? 🤔
Would love to stay here again, the views are stunning, and a lovely walk up the hill is a must.
Great place with great vibe and great food! We got mushroom and cheese as appetiser and Sunday Trio which was a very excellent Sunday Roast. Everything tasty and compliment each other! Place close to the Ilkley moor so you’ll also have a great scenery.
Brilliant service. We stayed when away for a wedding at Tithe Barn and this was the perfect place to stay. Great pub with crackling fires and comfy, clean bedrooms. Lovely and very helpful staff - and delicious breakfasts! Highly recommend staying.
P.S. get the full cooked breakfast, it’s delicious!
We visited Cow & calf for some breakfast this morning, we chose the English breakfast & Eggs Benedict, they we’re both well presented meals, the service was good and we will be returning to try out the dinner menu in the near future. 😊

We had a big family gathering here & were looked after really well, especially by Rachael. Great atmosphere & menu with something for everyone, food served hot & fresh & tasty. Love the decor too. Amazing views too.
The service was the best part of the night, special thanks to Nick, he is amazing at his job. He was so friendly and accommodating, he went out his way to make us a margarita that wasn’t even on the menu.
Hope to see him next time.

Happened across this pub by accident but very pleased we did! Lovely setting with fantastic views. Welcoming atmosphere for us and the dog which was lovely. Well priced food and drinks. Good selection of both and served with a smile by Rachael. Tasty and delicious. Hope to return soon. Thank you.
